Corporate Compliance Academy
Faculty Sponsor: Professor Elysa Dishman
The BYU Law Corporate Compliance Academy introduces students to the field of compliance through an interactive, simulation-based program focused on anti-corruption compliance. Students will gain experience conducting investigations, evaluating compliance programs, negotiating with government regulators, and making recommendations to a company General Counsel relating to hypothetical violations of anti-corruption laws. The 2024 Compliance Academy will be held in the Los Angeles offices of Mayer Brown, a leader in representing clients in combating corruption and ensuring compliance with an increasingly global framework of anti-corruption statutes. As part of this immersive program, students will receive coaching and training from highly experienced attorneys practicing anti corruption law, enjoy valuable networking opportunities, and be introduced to the legal market in Los Angeles.
