Terry L. Crapo
Terry L. Crapo graduated from Harvard Law School in 1963. He was a partner in one of Idaho Falls’ leading firms. He was also majority leader of the Idaho House of Representatives for four years and served in the state legislature for six years. Crapo fulfilled an unusual visiting faculty appointment in 1974, teaching Tuesdays through Thursdays while commuting from his home in Idaho Falls. Professor Crapo taught courses in estate planning document drafting, wills, federal estate and gift tax and advance estate planning. He also co-authored two books, “Idaho Estate Planning Forms” and “Idaho Probate System. ” He continued commuting to teach at BYU until his death from cancer in 1982.
