Erin Kealoha Fale has been appointed as BYU Law’s new Director of External Relations. Since starting with the External Relations Team in August 2020, she has been part of the Annual Golf Tournament, Wills for Heroes and Annual Leadership Council for alumni leaders and class presidencies. Erin is currently heading up the Alumni Allies program, connecting Alums to nearly 100 1Ls in the Class of 2024 and looking for ways to better connect and showcase the BYU Law community. She is especially looking forward to meeting face-to-face with people at BYU Law-hosted events on and off campus when it is safe to do so.
A graduate of the University of Southern California and of the University of Hawaii (William S. Richardson School of Law), Fale brings a wealth of experience to her new role of helping with alumni events, fundraising, and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society. She has worked in politics, public policy and public relations. Prior to her new role at BYU Law, she was an associate doing civil and corporate litigation, land use and business transactions at Honolulu-based Durrett Lang Morse and served as Secretary in the Hawaii Chapter of JRCLS. Erin and her family (husband, Richard and daughters, Violet and Regan) recently relocated to Provo, UT from Honolulu, HI.
“I have family, friends and mentors who are proud BYU Law alumni, so I thought highly of the law school and had a lot of pride and interest in seeing its success even this opportunity to join the Law School staff,” Erin said. “The Law School and its amazing alums have so much potential to impact lives and influence the world; I am excited to be part of it.”
