Twenty years ago, President Gordon B. Hinckley gave the dedicatory prayer at the dedication of the new Howard W. Hunter Law Library on March 21, 1997. The BYU Law community is celebrating this 20th anniversary with an open house on March 21, 2017, from 1-3 p.m. in the Rex Lee Reading Room.
A display highlighting memorabilia may be viewed on the second floor of the library. The display includes photos, news articles, one of the ground-breaking shovels, and an original student carrel.
