Michael O. Leavitt will speak at the J. Reuben Clark Law Society Annual Fireside on Friday, January 15, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. in the Little Theater of the LDS Conference Center in Salt Lake City. Leavitt served three terms as Governor of Utah from 1993 to 2003, was the Administrator of the EPA from 2003 to 2005, and served as Secretary of Health and Human Services from 2005 to 2009 under George W. Bush.
The Franklin S. Richards Service Award will also be presented to the Honorable J. Clifford Wallace of the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit for his years of service dedicated to helping develop strong judicial systems around the world. Following the fireside there will be a reception on the plaza level of the Conference Center.
Parking is available underneath the Conference Center and tickets are not required.
