The American Constitutional Society (ACS) is hosting a Juvenile and Criminal Justice event on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at noon. There will be a short documentary screening about a South Dakota Training School and the treatment of a juvenile who violated the law. This situation eventually led to new legislation on juvenile criminal justice. Following the documentary screening, Professor David Dominquez will offer his comments on the topic.
BYU Law alum, Jeremy Johnson ('85), said Professor Dominguez’s reputation is one who takes time to help others. Whether he is helping teens at the Juvenile Detention Center prepare for a hearing or inspiring students to improve their communities, Professor Dominguez’s greatest priority is making a positive difference in the lives of others.
