
On Friday, January 30, 2015, the BYU Law School community will have the privilege of hearing from speakers and panelists at the 2015 Law Review Symposium: “The Restatement and Treaty Law.” Presenters include ten law scholars from universities across the country. Professor Edward Swaine from George Washington University will give the opening address, “The Restatement (Fourth): Status, Challenges & Future.”
Other speakers and panelists will discuss topics such as “Treaty Self Execution,” “Treaty Interpretation,” “Treaties & Distribution of Power,” and “Treaties in Transnational Perspective.” The symposium will address updating United States foreign relations law in the upcoming fourth edition of the Restatement.
