World of Law: Courts and the Media

BYU Law Professor RonNell Andersen Jones will present a lecture titled, “What the Court Thinks of the Media and Why it Matters” on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at noon in JRCB 205. After the presentation, food will be provided and potential students will have the opportunity to speak with Professor Jones, other faculty, and current law students.

A former newspaper reporter and editor, Professor Jones researches legal issues affecting the press and the intersection between media and the courts, with a particular focus on the U.S. Supreme Court. Her work on press issues has appeared in numerous top journals, including Michigan Law Review, Harvard Law Review Forum, and UCLA Law Review.

World of Law is a lecture series for undergraduate students considering law school. All of the presenters are BYU Law professors.
