Environment, Energy, and Resources Society
About
The Environment, Energy, and Resources Society (EERS) is dedicated to educating the BYU Law community about environmental issues and fostering environmental stewardship, both on campus and off.
We often partner with local community groups to take care of public lands and enjoy the outdoors together. EERS plans several events during the school year, including hiking, Utah Lake beach cleanups, snowshoeing, and more. Once a year, we provide transportation and lodging for several students to attend a national environmental conference.
We also invite a variety of speakers to campus to discuss current environmental, energy, and resource issues and careers in environmental law. We hope you join us!
How to Join:
- If you’re interested in joining EERS, contact a member of the EERS Board to be added to the membership list.
