International Law Students Association
About
Who We Are
ILSA is BYU’s chapter of the International Law Students Association (ILSA), a non-profit association of students and lawyers who are dedicated to the promotion of international law. The organization’s activities include academic conferences, publications, the global coordination of student chapters, and the administration of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. From special presentations with renowned foreign professors, attorneys and diplomats to unique multicultural events, ILSA aims not only to present the latest developments in the international field, but also to serve as a network for those who might be interested in practicing law in the international arena in the future.
What We Do
ILSA is deeply involved with the international activities here at the law school, the business school, and the main campus. In addition to sponsoring international VIP speakers and exciting panel discussions, ILSA provides student volunteers and interpreters to the International Law & Religion Symposium each fall.
Joining ILSA is easy! Please email an ILSA board member to be added to the club’s annual roster, and feel free to contact us if you have any other questions or suggestions. We look forward to seeing you at our club events!
