SIPLA welcomes any student interested in learning more about intellectual property law.

The goals of BYU SIPLA are:

  • Provide networking opportunities in intellectual property law
  • Provide opportunities for students to learn about trademark law, copyright law, patent law, and technology licensing from experienced and successful practitioners in Utah, California, Washington state, and D.C.
  • Provide student-based mentoring and guidance to help IP-minded students find summer employment and prepare for IP-related work
