Appellate & D.C. Practice Academy

The BYU Law Appellate & D.C. Practice Academy is a rigorous training program designed to give students practical experience with high-level appellate work as well as a range of practice opportunities in Washington, D.C., Students will participate in exercises designed to teach and strengthen appellate advocacy skills, including appellate brief writing and oral advocacy. As part of this program, students will also hear from and interact with judges and top attorneys in the field as well as explore some of the many professional opportunities available in Washington, D.C.
