The BYU Law School along with the Marriott School of Management and the David O. McKay School of Education have approved requirements for students to earn joint degrees.

All applicants for admission to the J.D. Program are required to take either the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) or the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) unless they qualify for the LSAT exemption.

BYU Law may offer admission to a limited number of students who have not taken a law school entrance exam when certain conditions are met.

BYU Law School welcomes students from around the world to apply for the JD program or for BYU Law’s eight-month (two-semester) LLM program for foreign lawyers.

The tuition at BYU Law is among the lowest in the nation because more than half the cost of operating the Law School is paid from the contributions of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. All students benefit from this support.

BYU Law accepts completion of the JD Next course and exam as an applicant’s admission test.
