Alma Brockerman Wright was an American painter born in Utah. At the start of his career, Wright exhibited in Paris alongside renowned artists. After returning to Utah, Wright became an art professor at various colleges. With a unique and distinctive art style adopted in Paris, Wright has created many paintings and murals for temples for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, yet most known are his beautiful landscapes, Utah County Landscape being one of those. Through a rich use of color, Wright beautifully depicts a common landscape seen in Utah County, portraying a lovely summer's day.
