Faculty Profile

Athelia Graham is the managing attorney in the the Salt Lake City Office of Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains. She specializes in immigration and family law, working closely with refugee and immigrant populations to provide legal support.

Graham earned her undergraduate degree in Spanish teaching from Brigham Young University, where she also played soccer for the Lady Cougars for five years. She continued her education at BYU with a master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) before teaching English as a second language to elementary students in Alexandria, VA.

Athelia returned to BYU for law school, where she served as a 2017 Student Fellow for the International Center for Law and Religion Studies, including an externship in the Dominican Republic.
