Bradley R. Cahoon

Bradley R. Cahoon is an environmental lawyer who represents clients throughout the United States as a co-leader of Dentons’ USA Environmental and Mining groups. He has a record of using his litigation, administrative, regulatory, government relations, and transactions skills to help his clients achieve their business objectives. He counsels clients on environmental liability and risk management in corporate and real estate transactions, including major brownfield projects, across the US. He advises on purchasing, selling, financing and cleaning up contaminated properties, minimizing environmental liability risks, and negotiating pollution insurance. He has extensive experience advising clients on wetlands.

Cahoon has litigated environmental cases in Utah, New York, Iowa, Indiana, and Idaho. He litigates CERCLA, RCRA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, NEPA, toxic tort, civil and criminal enforcement actions, and citizen and environmental group lawsuits. His clients have included mining, energy, waste, chemical, steel, and manufacturing companies, land developers, builders, lenders, railroads, gas stations, wireless carriers, dry cleaners, metal recyclers, ski resorts, ranchers, farmers, lessors and lessees. He handles product compliance and shipping labeling matters under FIFRA, TSCA, California Proposition 65, and other laws. His environmental practice spans water, zoning, energy, mining, utility, and real estate law.
