Matthew Droz
Matthew was raised in Sandy, Utah, but moved to the East to attend college. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Comparative Area Studies from Duke University, Matthew moved back to Utah where he worked as a lifty at Alta Ski Area and sold T-shirts at the Sundance Film Festival. He later returned to Duke in order to attend both law school and basketball games at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Matthew began his legal career at Holland & Hart LLP in Salt Lake City before moving to Washington, D.C., and practicing with Baker Botts LLP. After that, he spent 12 years with ExxonMobil and 5 years at BW Energy.
Matthew recently retired to focus on his two passions: skiing and teaching.
