Morgan Farnsworth

Morgan Farnsworth is an international attorney with a dual focus on cross-border investment law and international human rights. She serves as general counsel to a global quantitative hedge fund, advising on entity formation, fund structuring, contracts, and regulatory compliance. She also supports private foundations, providing counsel on formation, operational legal needs, and international humanitarian projects.

Morgan teaches International Human Rights Law at BYU and previously worked at the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), where she evaluated treaty-based complaints and supported UN committees in adjudicating violations around the world. Her particular area of interest and scholarship is the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).

She holds a JD from BYU Law School and a BA in Political Science and Russian, and she speaks fluent Russian. Her work spans both public international law and private global finance.
