Faculty Profile

Ryan McBride is the General Crimes Division Chief at the Utah County Attorney’s Office, where he supervises attorneys in the General Felonies and Juvenile and Justice Sections and prosecutes cases by special assignment. His career has been dedicated to prosecuting a wide range of criminal offenses, including homicides, special victims, and juvenile offenses.

In 2022, the Utah Prosecution Council selected Mr. McBride as The Prosecutor of the Year for the State of Utah. He has trained prosecutors throughout Utah on trial advocacy, domestic violence prosecution, jury selection, and negotiations. He currently serves on the Utah Rules of Evidence Committee.
