Adobe Reader

Adobe reader is one option for viewing PDF files, a common document format on the Internet and here at the Law School.

Alternative Web Browsers

Microsoft Edge is automatically installed in Windows computers. Google Chrome is integrated well with Google services and has a large library of extensions. This is the recommended browser for the law school as it tends to have fewer issues with our printing software. Firefox is another alternative that is open-source and privacy-focused.

Antivirus Software

If you are running Windows 10/11, you will have Windows Defender installed and activated on your computer.

Malwarebytes is an additional piece of antivirus software that will search your computer for affected files and delete all threats.

BriefCatch

BriefCatch is a legal editing tool that is an add-on to Microsoft Word. For access please reach out to Prof. Gerdy Kyle.

Examplify Instructions

Examplify is used to administer electronic exams on computers, such as your laptop. The following information will help you learn to install and use the Examplify software.

VLC Media Player

VLC Media Player can be used to play most multimedia files.

Zoom unifies cloud video conferencing, simple online meetings, and cross platform group chat into one easy-to-use platform.
