Career Advisor

Cameron W. Thomas is a career advisor at the J. Reuben Clark Law School. With over twenty years of experience in complex litigation, Cameron has provided advice to Fortune 500 companies, with a particular focus on product liability, toxic tort, and general commercial liability issues. He previously worked for Gilbert, Kelly, Crowley & Jennett LLP and Musick, Peeler & Garrett LLP in Los Angeles. Cameron was recognized as a Southern California Rising Star by Los Angeles Magazine from 2004 to 2007 and 2009 to 2010.
Cameron grew up on a kiwi fruit farm in Northern California, which taught him the importance of hard work and higher education. He served an LDS mission in Virginia and graduated from Brigham Young University in 1997 with a degree in History. Cameron then moved to Southern California to attend Southwestern University School of Law, where he participated in Moot Court and graduated in 2000.
Cameron and his wife, Julie, are the proud parents of a daughter, Mallory, a recent graduate, with a degree in Biology from Brigham Young University. He enjoys traveling to Hawaii, playing golf, reading mystery novels, following the Los Angeles Dodger baseball team, and obsessing over BYU athletics.
